Golden ragwort is a native perennial found growing in forests, swamps, ravines, or riparian areas in the eastern US. Plant it in full sun to partial shade in average to wet soils. It forms thick spreading mats and, in the spring, sends up stalks of bright yellow flowers that attract many pollinators. Its seeds attract birds, and it grows 1 to 2 ft tall.
